  1. The flood started to rise much more and it was covering houses , roads, building and much more.

    Well the people that were on the road couldn’t do much because their cars were basically underwater so they were stuck in there cars waiting for the water to go down but the people that heard the warning prepared and started to go to evacuation centers

Their house would have been ruined with water and rubbish. the town would be ruined because all of the money they had lost during the floods all the small business and shops would be broke and ruined. the enviroment would have been hammed with water a lot of erosion would have happened and thewater would have taken forever to wash away.

    MINOR FLOODING :
    Causes inconvenience. Low-lying areas next to watercourses are
    inundated which may require the removal of stock and equipment.
    Minor roads may be closed and low-level bridges submerged.
    MAJOR FLOODING:
    In addition to the above, extensive rural areas and/or urban areas are
    inundated. Properties and towns are likely to be isolated and major traffic
    routes likely to be closed. Evacuation of people from flood affected areas
    may be required.
    MODERATE FLOODING:
    In addition to the above, the evacuation of some houses may be
    required. Main traffic routes may be covered. The area of inundation is
    substantial in rural areas requiring the removal of stock.

    It affected the towns because all the flood water had flooded all the houses underwater, so now the people in the town can’t go anywhere or get supplies

  13. 2. Anna Bligh, and the Queensland Premier, said that the drought thAt they had been having for a very long time was over because there was now lots of water.
    this was good news but the town still had to deal with spending lots of money to clean up there houses and the enviroment.during the drought they had to have water restrictions which meant that showers and be be very short and people tried to use alot less water.

  23. 3. In the 2009 floods lots and lots of houses were destroyed and completely drenched in muddy water. This harsh flood also ruined the enviroment causing lots of sand to wash away, trees to be ripped ot of the ground, crops to be killed, cattle to drown and even two people died in this horrible flooding disaster. They also lets lots of water out of the dam to keep it from over-flowwing but they let out to much and that cuased the whole of Ipswitch to flood also flooding more houses and killing MORE of the enviroment.
