  7. What harmony day means at E.H.S.S (rough copy)

At Eatons Hill State School we always include one another in our games or in our class groups. We do not despise or leave people that have a different culture. Harmony day means we are always kind and caring for one another no matter how big or how small. we should always do this but harmony day is a day to celebrate it.

  8. @Ms Natoli yes i think we are sharing that. @Chris sorry Chris i was really busy yesterday so i couldn’t acess the blog. Maybe you can do two setences and I can do two?

  9. Since 1999, a wide variety of groups including sports organisations, community groups, local government, churches, schools and businesses have staged more than 55 000 Harmony Day events, with nearly 6,500 events registered in 2011.

  10. That sounds good Ben. I think that I would like to do the first half. I think you would be great doing the second half. How does that sound?

  11. @ Chris and Ben can you have another go at the second sentence and make it a positive statement?

  12. This is my final copy. Do you like it or is it too long?

Australia is a culturally diverse country which welcomes people from all over the world. It has many ethnic communities with great churches, schools and shops that anyone can go to. On Australia Day we have so many people who want to become Australian Citizens because they feel safe and welcome here and want to make Australia their home.
Australia truly is the lucky country where EVERYONE BELONGS.
