Which fraction is larger 3/9 or 2/3 ?

To compare these fractions you could use the following strategies

: a) Compare area models to see which fraction takes up more space. b) Place fractions on a number line to see which fraction is closest to one.

The two strategies above show that: 2 3 > 3 9 2 3 is greater than 3 9
